In the summer of 2022, Street Morphology will take place in Tyumen for the fifth time and, for the first time, become an international public art project.
Yan Posadsky – this year's curator of Street Morphology – will determine its participants in a closed selection. In 2022, we have decided to cancel the open call for the first time and invite Russian and foreign artists, who will be working in pairs and making collective sketches, by ourselves.

Our team has been thinking a lot about what we would like to dedicate this year's project to. It is the right time now to remember maintaining your "inner home" – your personal home as a place where you constantly are; metaphysical home as a place of human existence; natural home as our planet. A nice and safe place where the center of culture and unity stays. This leaves the possibility for a dialog regardless of our location and beliefs.

Russian authors will come to the art laboratory in Tyumen to explore the city and look for its identity. One of the participation conditions in the project for Russian artists is to work at the public art laboratory.
After working in the laboratory and being inspired by Tyumen, the participants will make collective sketches in their art groups. Each team will have a Russian and a foreign artist.
Free events for the citizens who want to catch up on contemporary street art. A more detailed information will come out in May.
We are putting together a team of media volunteers and people who can draw to help the artists make artworks and create content along with the project's PR team. A more detailed information will come out in May.
Russian participants will come to Tyumen to create drawings, art objects, installations, and other forms of street art in the city. Foreign artists will be working remotely.
